Revelation 21
Tells us that the New Jerusalem will come out of the heavens and God will dwell with man. Revelations 21:1 says, "The walls of the city had twelve foundations and on them were the names of the twelve apostles of the Lamb." Continuing, in verse 19, each stone is named: Jasper, Sapphire, Chalcedony, Emerald, Sardonyx, Carnelian, Chrysolite, Beryl, Topaz, Chrysoprase, Jacinth, and Amethyst. The city gates are each made up of a single pearl. The streets are made up of pure gold, like transparent glass. John describes the city of God as a beautiful bride dressed for her husband.

Revelations goes on to say He who has seated on the throne said, "I am making everything new!" Then he said, "Write this down for these words are trustworthy and true."..."To him who is thirsty I will give to drink without cost from the spring of the water of life. He who overcomes will inherit all this!" (Revelations 21:5-6)
