The two most popular choices for high speed internet are DSL and Cable.  They both have their advantages and disadvantages. 

DSL often offers the lowest price option, but it isn't available in as many areas as cable is.  High speed cable is more widely available, now being offered by most Cable television providers, but can often be a little bit more expensive.  Both Cable and DSL are offered with all different speed options.  The more you pay, the faster the access and the more bandwidth you get.  For those needing the most speed and bandwidth, T1 lines are a premium option.
